is there a lot of parking at the trailhead?

Parking at this trail can be challenging, we've had to turn around once because even the streets were entirely full. This is an extremely popular trail. That being said, there is enough parking for at least 20 cars and then some at the side of the street. I do recommend going earlier in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Is this trail off-leash?

Yes! This is in fact one of the best off-leash parks in Austin, it features a lot of water crossings and small creeks for your dogs to enjoy as well.
